Error reference
Recover by error type and keep the local request ID.
Common errors
These explanations come from the shared error dictionary. Start with the HTTP status, then inspect error.type or error.code in JSON. Do not classify an error only by its message.
content_policy_refusal
The request was rejected by the content policy and was not charged.
Revise the content. To appeal, contact support with the local request ID.
account_temporarily_restricted
The account is temporarily restricted after repeated content policy violations.
Wait until the release time in the error message, or contact support.
insufficient_quota
There is insufficient balance.
Add credit in Wallet and check the key allowance.
rate_limited
Requests are too frequent, or the service is busy.
Respect Retry-After, reduce concurrency, and use backoff with jitter.
model_unavailable
The model is temporarily unavailable.
Try again later, or choose another allowed model.
invalid_api_key
The API key is invalid or disabled.
Check the key is correct, unexpired and enabled. Create a replacement if needed.
Retry and support
Resolve authentication, balance and content problems before retrying. Respect Retry-After on 429 and use bounded backoff for transient service failures. Do not replay an entire stream after content has arrived.
Provide the local request ID, time, model ID and error code. Remove keys, personal information and sensitive content.
