Understand acceptable use, refusals and account restrictions.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for illegal content, child sexual exploitation, incitement to hatred or violence, fraud, or violations of others' rights. Do not bypass model safeguards, steal keys or attack the service. Ensure you have a lawful basis for submitted data and its use.
Refusals and billing
Content rejection may return 403 content_policy_refusal without a charge. A successful response containing a refusal is still billed against usage. Revise the request rather than repeatedly retrying or rotating keys to bypass safeguards.
Account restrictions
Repeated violations may result in temporary restrictions or account suspension. Follow the release time in the error message. Contact support for manual review and do not use other accounts to evade restrictions.
Appeals and terms
For an appeal, provide the local request ID, time, model and a necessary redacted explanation. Do not send complete keys or illegal source material. This policy applies alongside the service terms. Refunds and balance handling follow formal terms and applicable law; restriction status alone does not determine the outcome.
