Cursor / Cline / Cherry Studio
Match the URL format expected by your client.
Cursor
Configure your own OpenAI API key in model settings. If your version exposes a Base URL override, use https://api.neatrouter.com/v1, add the exact model ID and test a chat request. Subscription usage and your own key are billed separately; an API key does not cover every Cursor feature.

Cline
Select OpenAI Compatible. Use https://api.neatrouter.com/v1 as Base URL, your complete API key and an allowed Model ID. Configure tools, images, context size and output limits according to actual model capabilities.

Cherry Studio
Add an OpenAI-compatible provider, enter the key, then add and enable the exact model ID. Start with the root https://api.neatrouter.com and verify that the assembled endpoint is https://api.neatrouter.com/v1/chat/completions. Trailing slashes and full endpoints can behave differently across versions. For a 404, check the final path for a duplicated /v1.
Use your installed version and official documentation for menu names.
Troubleshoot
Use the API address and complete key, rather than the console address or masked key. Try the minimal cURL request to separate service configuration from client configuration. Store keys in secure client settings and provide only the local request ID when asking for help.
